The toss has been delayed thanks to a wet outfield. There were showers and that has meant the covers are on. There is a bit of rain falling down now as well. There will be a bit of a wait.

Romario Shepherd:
The way we executed with the ball, needs to be better. It is a big difference when you bowl at night. The toss plays a big part in the caribbean. Gives me a big responsibility as Andre Russell isn't there. Big miss for us. He can have a big impact with the ball and the bat. I have to pull my socks up for my team. The wind plays an important role here.

Liam Livingstone:
This pitch will play better. We have had the conditions in our favour. We have taken wickets with the ball and been good with the bat. More of the same tonight. It is a very good pitch. There is bit more pace and bounce. A lot of the players have been looking forward to this part of the series. We do have a lot of depth. If we need them, they will come in. Rashid can come in whenever needed in white ball cricket. The last 6 months has been really good for me. I am playing to somewhere close to may best. Had difficult 2 years before that. Enjoying the game is very important for me.

The 22 yards has been concealed with thick sheets. It looks a little overcast. The crowd, though sparse in number, is hanging in there. We will definitely get a game. But too early to predict whether it will be a full game or not. But again, mother nature is beyond everyone!

some deeply bleak clouds over the hills and away to the sea, and apparently if those hit, we have problems. The outfield is already saturated by the recent rain.

Interestingly, there is no rain falling. But the covers are in place. Peeling them off, whenever it happens, will consume a few minutes as well. Just keep your fingers crossed. Windies have all to play for. They can't afford a loss as the series is on the line for them. Yes, the toss has played a major role. But they will definitely look to do better. Wickets in the powerplay has been a cause of concern for them. They have lost too many while batting and have picked hardly any while they have had the ball in their hands.

And the covers are being dragged off.
That's good news for sure.

Some news from the England camp, and it's familiarly bleak for Reece Topley. He has been ruled out of the remainder of the T20I series against West Indies through injury, and is to fly home from St Lucia. Such cruel luck... so many injuries. He's going home lighter in the pocket too after his chair-smashing in Barbados.

Ah gorne ...

Powell:
It's something we have talked about for the last few days, today is an opportunity to change that. It's about clarity, if you come out of the powerplay as England did, 70/0, the middle overs will be difficult. It's about starting well and the middle overs will take care of itself. We have a few changes due to injures - King has a niggle, Hope is in. Forde too has a niggle so Alzarri comes in and Hetmyer replaces Rutherford. [on Alzarri] He has been the spearhead of our attack, ever since I became captain, he will be vital, we will look to him not only to control the powerplay but also to take wickets.

Buttler:
We are going to bowl first again. Little bit of weather around and chasing has been good so far. Remember it being a very good cricket wicket, we need to start well, West Indies are a top side and we have to be right on it. We have had some near-misses in the recent past, we will start fresh, 0/0. We have one change - Rehan in for Adil Rashid.

Jofra Archer to Lewis, 1 run, wry smile from Jofra Archer as Lewis pulls and it's in the air but well wide and in front of deep backward square-leg, the ball plugs in front of Saqib, short of length outside off, Lewis pulls and does not get hold of it
