How yuh holding up bro? Different emotions gonna come n go yuh know. Try to be strong for the others. But don't feel no way if there are moments when they're stronger and you need their shoulder.

Yes friends still going through the process, of course it gets better every day but it comes back at you hard at times, thank you everyone again for the thoughtful words of support and advice, I can tell you that they do help ! Thank you

Before we close off this thread I would like to share some pics of my mom over the years .

Younger days

Always looking out for and tried to elevate her family from very young, she actually arranged this portrait day at 19 y.o. she was the eldest ..and had many other younger siblings/half siblings and she helped all..

With her favorite aunt who supported her while other family disowned and castigated her for deciding to be with my older african dad..

Studio photos were big in those days.

Over the years .

Couldn't resist a baby, holding one of my cousins from UK in the mid 70s

Came to London to meet me at school one summer, we went to Miami before returning to T&T for my summer vacation late 80's

before heading to airport in T&T for that trip..

With wifey and our last son in 2018 for a family event at our home

These and many other pics have been my goto all my life, from small to now, always loved looking at her pics over the years, and i would continue to.
