Do you think this is only about money for him and his billionaire buddies? I am suspecting it is more about resetting White Dominance in the US and possibly the world.

I do disagree with you on a number of your points of views but this time I have to say we are all in what is happening together. America is the hub and the world is the target.

More to come…

It is no accident what is happening to USA Federal Government employees and the new slew of Executive Orders that are being implemented.

I encourage you to take a serious look at what is going on in America at the moment and read up on this fella and his doctrine:

Curtis Yarvin

and his concept of: RAGE CULTURE

and what it means with what is going on with the current administration and his influence in the GOP.

To be balanced on this issue, reducing the Federal workforce happened under Bill Clinton in 1993.

President Clinton has ordered his Cabinet officers to slash 100,000 jobs from the federal work force over the next four years, to cut back executive perquisites and to dissolve obscure government commissions like the "Advisory Panel for the Dictionary of Occupational Titles."

Read more here….

But there is such a big difference in how the Trump 2.0 administration is going about messing with federal spending and federal jobs, and how it was done before.

Before Trump’s inauguration, members of his transition landing team wanted to know granular details about the bureau’s proprietary computer systems, including “each step in the disbursement process.” They also wanted to visit field offices where government workers, in Philadelphia or Kansas, work on computers that disburse payments.
The requests puzzled many career officials initially. The transition operation hadn’t requested substantive briefings on any of Treasury’s other critical areas of operation, multiple people familiar with the matter said. Veterans of past transition efforts, representing presidents of both parties, couldn’t recall precedent for the Trump team’s entreaty.

The arcane process of cutting the government’s checks is normally overlooked by political leadership, though the incoming administration exhibited an odd interest in its inner workings, sources said — raising suspicions among career officials about the intent to tinker with a crucial financial pipeline that keeps the nation’s economy running.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the ranking member of the Senate Banking Committee, called for an investigation on Friday following news of Lebryk’s departure.
“It’s alarming that Elon Musk is attempting to gain access to the Federal Government’s critical payment system, which is responsible for delivering Social Security checks, tax refunds, and Medicare benefits to Americans across the country,” Warren said in a statement provided to CNN. “It is equally alarming that Musk and the Trump Administration drove out the most senior career official at Treasury as the agency is already taking extraordinary measures to avoid a US default.”
Multiple Trump administration officials, including people at Treasury, didn’t respond to several requests for comment this week.
Musk himself acknowledged his interest in the Treasury Department’s payment processing in a middle-of-the-night post on his social media platform Saturday.

Here is a good read why Musk and the GOP want control of the treasury payment system:

He’s helping congressional Republicans attempt to pay for a new round of tax breaks for corporations and the ultrawealthy…

... and the IRS employees.

IRS Employees Who Took Trump 'Buyout' Ordered to Stay, Told Their Work Is Too 'Essential'

IRS employees who opted for the Office of Personnel Management's offer of "deferred resignation" have been told that their jobs are "essential" and that they must continue to work until May 15.

After which they'll once again be expendable.

Wonder what will happen by Tax Season next year. AI will take over totally?

In the legal drama unfolding, the Clinton appointed federal judge in Massachusetts restored Felon Musk "Fork in the Road" buyout program for federal employees, ruling that unions that sued to stop the effort lacked standing to bring their challenge.

The deferred resignation program has been spearheaded by Elon Musk, who is serving as Trump’s top adviser for reducing federal spending. Under the plan, employees can stop working and get paid until Sept. 30.

That's what a lot of the tariff nonsense is about.

Flood the media with stuff like that so the thievery in broad daylight at the U.S. Treasury can go un-noticed.

Can you imagine if Obama only did like 1% of the shit the Dotard is doing now? White people would literally torch the entire country down.

I am not sure if these75k federal workers think this through before they accepted this package. Douche duo promised to pay them to stay home for 8 months. Don't see that happening Douche duo will most certainly pull the rug out from under them.

Employment lawyers are salivating at the prospect of being retained by these gov't workers.

President Musk and vice-president Dotard pretty much gave them a shit ton of slam dunk wrongful termination cases.

That's why I am wondering why 75k of these federal workers sign up for it. It must be the ones close to retirement. No way Douche duo will honor that agreement and they will point to it saying look at these lazy bums wanting to be paid without working . I know they will be ridiculed for accepting it by the same douche bags that offered it in the first place as they screw them over.

Any offer they received from their employer, and accepted, is a legally binding agreement.

The Employer can't then unilaterally rescind their own offer that was accepted. If they refuse to pay out the severances after the employees accepted the buy out offer then it's a slam dunk case for wrongful termination and bad faith - at least in Canada. But I can't see why it also wouldn't be in Dumbfcukingstan.

Yeah in Canada but labor laws different in the US. US labor laws are 1 or 2 clauses short of being sanctioned slavery. And if some idiot hijacked the gov and say they are going to pay me 8 months to be home, I would question the validity of that arrangements cuz if it sounds to good to be true coming from people who are looking to save money for billionaire tax cuts, its probably too good to be true.

It was the intention of the Trump's administration since in the 1st term to destroy the current American operational system, Steve Bannon, one of Trump's main advisers, said it several times on his radio show and in speeches. The system no longer gives them an advantage in their opinion. They know that people who do not look like them have arrived at their level and are passing them in terms of influence on world affairs and control. However with the arrival of Musk it looks like they are going for more than world control, it looks like they are going for more money, Trump has been threatening many countries against joining BRIC'S, because they know that will be fatal to their world influence if more countries join.

If you are familiar with politics in Trinidad and Tobago , its very similar.

One party is elected, and all its stooges get nominated for positions.

It matters not if they are qualified or not; then the unelected can be appointed to be ministers.

They then share the treasury; recently 2.5 billion was missing and not accounted for by the auditor General
Her brief is before the Privy Council; judges have already made comments about the finance minister that are not flattering...

Wherein lies the difference? ...
