m not saying play both warrican and motie
i did check the stats shamar joseph has played way less test matches has more 5 wicket hauls ,better strike rate and better average and it's not even all that shamar looked far more like a wicket taker bowler A joseph bowls far too short and inconsistant

only automatic pick should be man of the series from the last series in PAK, new boy imlach, seales and shamar. all them promising players failed during the year and even if they had a score, it was most of the times irrelevant to the match result. The minute athanaze was put in on a difficult he wicket at providence, he folded, never mind it as a 2nd string SA attack and they had 3 days to make 260. Da silva and motie found themselves coming in at 90-5, which was exactly the problem on the english tour.

Lol Kevlon gotta play with the 'A' team.. but the usual failures could walk straight into the test squad.
His FC average is over 45 after today's inning with 4 tons and 4 50s...
Could you name a current WI test player with better numbers?
Greaves walked into the test lineup with a 20 something average... same for Hodge, Carty and others.. no wonder de youth seh he's done with cricket in the region if he doesn't make the test squad by the end of this season.

He’s hardly the first player to do well at FC level and get neglected by WI selectors.

Few seasons back..... Louis had better stats.... average 75....4 centuries.... couple fifty....was selected for England tour.....today after 9 tests.... average @19....all posters...wants him thrown away....non hereinabove...called for him to be in team....
I , opposed his inclusion then....let the young man play few seasons more....but.....
Similarly,Kevlon @43..., should play against South Africa A.....may be selected in the squad....but should not be exposed against Australia.....He is special talent.... should not be handled like Louis....
Louis should not be thrown away.....the lad has serious potential....
Silva has shown tremendous character..... should surely be ahead of many
