Carty flicks effortlessly off his pads and gets another boundary. Early days but he is looking in really good touch.

After 3 overs, West Indies are now on 21/1 (E.Lewis 9*, K.Carty 8*)

Alien conditions for the tourists, with a strong, chilly breeze and temperature of just 12c. Even the hardy locals are out in sweaters and jackets. West Indies squad and staff are wrapped up for the arctic, wooly hats and everything!

The Irish fielders in the covers need not worry about cold hands however, as Carty, for the second time in a few balls, drives powerfully with elegance, only to find the fielder on both occasions.

Fine drive from Lewis this time, as he picks up four more through the covers. Two balls later, he gives it away slashing outside off and is gobbled up in the slips after a juggling catch. Lewis goes for 14.

West Indies end the fifth over of their innings on 31/2 (K.Carty 12*) with skipper Shai Hope walking out to the crease.

McCarthy overpitches but this time, Carty misses out.

Lovely drive through midwicket this time, four more for Keacy Carty. B.McCarthy bangs the next one in short, Carty nudges to leg for a single to bring Shai Hope on strike for the first time. He watches a few go by and then gets off the mark as McCarthy again strays onto leg, boundary for Hope. The 7th over ends with the tourists on 42/2. Carty is on 18*, Hope 4*. Both wickets fell to B.McCarthy (2/28 from his 4 overs)

McCarthy to Brandon King, out Lbw!! McCarthy has his bunny in the first over. King has been dismissed by him in all three games. McCarthy was trying this on the previous two balls but lost his line, not this time. The inswinger on a fullish length, King plants his front foot across and tries to play around it, misses and is struck right in front of the stumps. That was plumb and McCarthy was almost off on a celebrappeal.

McCarthy to Lewis, out Caught by Balbirnie!! McCarthy strikes again! Both openers back in the hut. What a series McCarthy is having, his 8th wicket! Lewis throws his head back before walking off. Back of a length delivery, angled across and Lewis saw the width, he goes with hard hands on the punch and the outside edge flies to second slip, Balbirnie gets low to catch and the ball pops out of his hand but he keeps his eyes on the ball and takes it on the second attempt. Third game in a row that West Indies' openers have been dismissed cheaply.

Liam McCarthy to Keacy Carty, FOUR, lovely shot! Half volley but still had to be put away. Carty leans forward, his back knee almost touching the ground, offers the full face of the bat and caresses the drive through extra cover
