Andy McBrine to Shai Hope, 1 run, flighted up, the batter gets to the pitch of the ball and works the ball down to long-on to bring up his fifty. The skipper looking set for a bigger one. Just a mild raise of the bat. He has his eyes set on a bigger goal. The run machine from the Windies looking very solid out there

Dockrell to Keacy Carty, FOUR, quicker one, angled in, Keacy Carty gets the bat down in a hurried manner and tucks it wide of the dive of the man at short fine for a four.
Fifty for Keacy Carty. 100 up for the duo. His good form continues

Uh Oh! The rain is here. That's such a shame. These two were putting up a tutorial for the middle overs batting and it is a pity that the heavens have opened up. The breeze is strong. Hopefully, a passing shower. Some thunderstorms were expected. But that was for the later part of the day.

Can see the covers being dragged off. The sun seems to be coming out in full glory as well. So, a restart can't be too far away. The final cover on the 22 yards being peeled off now. The umpires are near the centre. Certainly has stopped raining. They are carefully dragging the covers away. The wind seems to have reduced as well. It is bright and sunny and so are our hopes.

Andy McBrine to Shai Hope, out Caught by (sub)Thomas Mayes!! The breakthrough comes here. That was short, skidded on, Shai Hope went back to pull it and found the hands of the man at long-on. Good take diving forward. That was dying on him but he did well despite making the dive. End of a good knock from the skipper. He wanted to hit wide of long-on but failed to do that. Not much distance on it either. Third one down.
