Hazlewood to Markram, no run, that's the variable bounce which can happen sometimes. It rises awkwardly from a back of a length on off, Markram is surprised, he was looking to defend, takes the bottom-hand off, softens the impact, hit high on the bat and Webster almost at a fourth slip dives to his right to cut it off, went to ground though
The lights are on.

Clouds have come in and the lights are out.

These conditions will help the bowlers.

beautiful straight drive. Fullish on middle, Markram brings out the high elbow and all that style out as he gets forward to drive it straight, Hazlewood tumbles on his followthrough but he has no chance, runs away to the fence, one of the shots of this innings. Had there been a touch from Hazlewood and had it gone on to the stumps at the other end, it would have been interesting as Bavuma was trying his best to get back. Was out in fact, was not far from the stumps but it was not close to touching Hazlewood's hand

Lyon to Bavuma, byes, 2 runs, massive turn from outside off, no chance for Bavuma to get bat and also for Carey down leg, legslip gets a hand to it and takes some pace off it, still two byes

Hazlewood to Markram, FOUR, one of his best knocks in Tests and arguably his best knock ever in international cricket. ABD with a jumper watching on claps in acknowledgement. This is a full delivery on middle and leg, out comes the flick and it races wide of mid-wicket, no big celebrations as he removes the helmet and raises the bat, before getting on with it. Markram's wife is hugged and congratulated by the other WAGs watching on. She is much more thrilled than her husband as she flashes a big smile. Rabada and Stubbs too were up as soon as the ball was rolling away to the fence. A knock which has showcased all of Markram's qualities and proven right to those who were praising him as a talent all those years back. And it has come in a WTC final of all places. At the Home of Cricket too. No better feeling. Take a bow, Markram! Wonder if he has played any better than this, I for sure, haven't seen him bat better

Bavuma caught behind for 66 off Cummins.

A good innings from a captain who's struggling with a hamstring issue.
