How to lie with statistics....
Most of the previous six Tests at Headlingley were played in overcast and drizzly conditions. This time, it's hot and sunny in Yorkshire - which is very rare!
The logical decision would've been to win the toss, and bat, in these conditions.
The last six Tests at Headingley, dating back to 2017, were all won by the sides batting second - two by an innings margin and four by chasing down targets in excess of 250.
