Greaves is a valuable asset to the team. I would not drop him

UNLESS

He was being replaced by Jason Holder.

I've had enough of these passive guys. JH is good were he is.

Time to unleash Rutherford in Tests.

I agree. I'll play him and Carty for at least a couple more serious.

I don’t disagree with adding Rutherford to the test team.

I disagree with adding him at the expense of an all rounder.

The guy who was challenging Greaves for his place last year disappeared, what's the matter with Springer?

Holder at 7 would be a huge asset.
Rutherford anywhere in the batting lineup would be a huge asset.

Always interesting when we have choices.

I did not think of Rutherford but yes...He would and could be an asset in here.

Who sits?

Greaves just needs to fight through the self doubt nonsense...We hAVE SEEN how good he is so I dont think I would drop him.

The real conundrum is that someone has to replace Paint...and poor Campbell is satisfied with being mediocre- barely doing the minimums... we honestly need some solid openers again.

Doesn't Greaves open at FC?

Sacrifice an allrounder as opener, at this point, anything better than Kraigg

Y'all too in a hurry to drop Paint. Every batsman goes through a slump and he is obviously in a slump now.

Given the lack of quality openers in the region I would persist with him for now.

Rutherford tell yall he's interested in test cricket?

De man is in demand around the world for lickit cricket.. why give up all that money? Especially for a team that will discard you in no time if you disagree with the great leader.

On a side note.. like Hodge, Greaves will be out of the team eventually. I don't consider him international quality.

Don't be myopic.

I am sure some arrangement can be made that will allow him to keep making his money.

So we should give Paint another 100 Tests? Unless he gets 50 + this should be his last test. A matter of fact Kraigg should do the honorable and retire after this match.

Rutherford as a left hander would be a fantastic addition to that middle order, especially if Carty could ever really get going in the way that we know he can. But Hope is showing what a lack of redball cricket can do for a decent batsman

I beg to differ.

I support KB but you missed my point.

who is being groomed to take that spot...those spots?

Are we done with young Shiv and a few others who peeped in...Kirk done?

I am not convinced that enough OPENERS are in the pipe line that can fill the spots

I don't disagree.

Paint has to stay for now given the lack of available quality.

How long is the slump? Hodge and Athanaze been dropped because they in a slump, and their performances were better than Kraigg

So how will you know that the top performers that played in the FC tournament and performed are not amongst the best in the region if they're sitting and watch others who did nothing take their spots?
