There are good bowlers and men who run up and release the ball towards the bowlers. The regional first-class tournament is filled with the latter. Against dibbly-dobbly bowling you can score 3 centuries, 3 fifites and end up with the second-highest average in our regional first-class tournament. Against good bowlers you may luck your into a century ala sammy.

What utter nonsense! I guess the rest of the so called batsmen in the region faced world beaters and failed to get the same results!
I suggest you stick to analyzing soccer in the back room! You all does take up certain positions and when confronted defend with nonsense!

I can't beleive aome people are willing to be hard on the youth or the team management.
The is the best bowling team in the world. Most wouldn't stand up to them. We got to be happy to bat out the night. I expect the guys to keep batting and fighting their way through to these runs.
We need to be realistic the team is playing well against the number 1(people say, I'll say 2 cause SA are Test Champions) and the team though they lost the first two are playing proper cricket but the deficiencies in our batting are not assisting the bowlers. But positives are there and we need to grow from those positives and hopefully get the right batting chemistry thay csn help the team to be competing on both sides of the ball

Didn't he score a 50+ in one of the matches? I'm sure he did better than most of the other players in that series.

Let's not cry for Anderson - he's a batter, needs to toughen up! A good exposure and experience - baptism of fire! No need for cuddling up - our boyz need to be tough! Too many fenky fenky men these days!

Hard on Anderson to pick him for a day night test vs Oz. (Carty should not have been dropped.) But brutal folly to make him open. Greaves was the obvious alternative.

It makes no difference who is bowling.
Anderson's technique was extremely poor last night.

Let's be positive and say, that was nerves.

You just reinforced my point, most of those who walk to the crease with a bat in this region are "so called batsmen". I credit you with being clearer in describing them than I was.

There are no above decent batsmen in the region so the decent or 1/2 decent ones will look good batting.
