It would make an important difference...a properly certified coach would mean we have basic standards.

Nobody on this mb would want a uncertified doctor to work on their loved one....or a uncertified lawyer to defend them in court.

Our top team should not want an uncertified coach to direct our warm ups, selection policies, player development, team tactics, etc

Is Brendon McCallum a "properly certified cricket coach?" If not, this would 180 negate your argument above.

Further, aren't there jobs that one can undertake successfully without certification?
