if it wasn't thanks to dumb people, roach, taylor and ravi would have made a feasrsome attack...........those same people who said he was unfit were lobbying for a walking talking heart attack called rakheem cornwall to play. i remember morons on this site calling him the borderline racist name rotipaul. i will always say rampaul was the most skilled WI bowler between 2008-2023........but as i said, west indian cricket management is laced with dumb people

Yes, Rampaul has done a good job with the pacers, but Motie needs to be more consistent with his length control.

We took on Australia toe to toe in the bowling department and they are tops and have legendary status. Even the ODI and the T20 series we step up to the plate and bowled to them on equal 'grounds'
In fact the Aussies never made a test century against us in the series the strong point is Brandon King had the highest test score in the series not an Australian batter that says a lot. Well done Ravi.

Completely Agreed.

Always loved RAVI.

As much as I called him Ravioli…he just as sweet and his work has been paying off.

I tell wunnuh,

I will tell allyuh who de real bowlers are from early.

Really happy for Seales

this is why i could never support sammy as anything in wi cricket. he benefitted from the destruction of a side that had tangible results to show as progress. if anybody says rampaul played under sammy, rampaul was on the 2009 tour of australia so he was in the team already

Ravi one me fav bowlers in recent times. Glad he's part of the coaching staff
I see we bowlers could only get better
Batters need to catch up now so we can get a real balanced team and that will help when it comes to consistent wins.

I keep cautioning you guys about heaping all credit for the bowlers on Ravi. Seales and Joseph were match winners for us before Ravi arrived, and Seales was already on track to be an all-time WI great. Have you noticed that our bowling performs much better when Seales is in the team?

When Aljo starts showing consistency, and guys like Blades, Shep and Philip show improvement I will give Ravi his flowers. But I understand that some people, not necessarily you, will heap praise on Ravi to detract from any praise for the head coach smile

That’s not exactly correct.

We definitely took on Australia toe to toe in the bowling department.

But Oz was going through a period of transition in the batting department when they played us in tests.

They used the following coming into the test series:
Sam Konstas - 2 test matches
Josh Inglis - 1 test match
Cam Green - 29 test matches
Beau Webster - 4 test matches

We bowled to some pretty inexperienced guys in addition to the likes of Steve Smith, Khawaja, Head, & Carey

Even Labuschagne didn’t get a game as they were intent on seeing what the young players could do.

Doesn't matter how inexperienced the opposition is...good bowling still needed to be done and good bowling is good bowling this shows Ravi is doing a great Job with his charges.... I am seeing improvements
The fielding and batting coaches on the other hand...... I have no idea why they still on staff

Ah, you do realize Oz have an ashes series coming up and everything for them is preparing for that.
While I or 2 may have been a bit inexperienced they all know they were batting for a place on the ashes team.
There are a couple of batting positions up for grabs.
The only change I see for them is Labuschange in for kontas.

You're not wrong but I'll throw in a couple caveats on why Ravi definitely deserves some praise!!!

1. Look at Seales ODI record before this series albeit not many games but he was no where as effective as he is now!!!

2. Shamar Joseph has also made significant improvement in both white ball formats!!!

3. Someone finally told Gudakesh Motie to bowl the rasshole ball instead of pelting it my money is on Ravi talking some sense into him!!!

Labuschagne struggled in the last series against us down under. australia's batting is very weak at the moment and one of the concerns in australian cricket circles is that they're not seeing people even in fc cricket averaging high 40s and 50s

Seales himself said that RAVI helped him to understand HOW to bowl for ODI cricket.

I liked Seales from day one, sadly too many TnT posters on here didn’t seem too impressed with him and were calling for others.

Case in point-

I have been super hard on Oshane…and I am only mentioning this now for the sake of comparison.

Someone Coachable versus apparent “difficult to take in the LEARNING”

based on obvious results for all to see.

Seriously if someone spoke to Oshane and if he had taken them on the boy would have been further along. But it is what it is.
Ravi has to be doing aomwthing right, yoy saw it in the Australia tests ans seen it now.
I am sure many persons are hoping to see pur bowling attack in the next series, albeit Nepal, then India before the full series against New Zealand.

Completely agree with you Jayden is certainly willing to learn and improve my only qualm with him is his pace but he definitely makes up with skill!!!

The less said about Oshane the better but the problem is he has pace which is something you can't necessarily teach but he has no skill to execute no to mention one lil IPL contract and he went straight on a Cornwall diet rolleyes
