I have no real problem with Sammy as coach but it's very clear as to the reason he was selected!!!

so CoachEd Cricket is an online certification program and not endorsed by the ICC

i dont know what kind of weight that carries

why even do it?
the CWI has a coaching program that partners with the ICC

The certification program is a good thing

Like higher education certification, where it comes from has to matter


So he completed his level 3 icc coaching certification
then went to get his level 4 at a non endorsed ICC certification?

make that make sense

Coaches that have their level 3 certification

i really not sure you or i know enough to say
coachEd has their own level 2-4 coaching program

the take away is that they ARE NOT ICC ENDORSED

that is important

Has Sammy applied for his level 3 coaching course as yet?

Imagine a policeman pulling over a motorist for speeding who then presents a license to drive a motor bike to the Officer. Should the officer let him off and not even encourage him to get a proper driver's license?

Sammy simply doesn't have the necessary experience to be a guru at this point. While some former players return to the sport as positional coaches and gradually work their way up, Sammy lacks both qualifications and experience. The same applies to the Director of Coaching; he is managing solely based on theoretical knowledge.
