There will be a different kind of insularity

Players from town getting preference over players from country

Jeremy won’t be satisfied until the entire Guyana team is Indian

Many might only want players from Bernice on the team

Players from Tobago will feel discriminated against

Only Queens Park players getting selected for T&T and so on.

Some teams may struggle to field an XI

Etc etc

And when they do, hopefully they also start their own cricket forum, and “spear” the rest the 24-hour bitching and trying way too hard to be ‘wise guys’ on this one.

The people that currently run WI cricket have not done the reputation of their respective home territories any favours by their performances.

If you are referring to my post about the inclusion of women's cricket, there is this exemption clause in the list of criteria:

" If the development of Women’s cricket is not possible for cultural or religious reasons, the Member is to provide written notice of this to the Regional Development Manager along with a supporting letter from a relevant government department."

Any idea what's the President box? That increased by close to 200% from 2023 to 2024

Other things that I noticed...
- team management fees almost doubled.
- travel and representation almost tripled

No wonder dem fellas broke... the good life.
