The lack of focus is shocking.

You could call for a few of the batsmen missing from this game to come in instead but the result would be the same...just like moving deck chairs around on the Titanic.

They are, as a group, lacking between the ears as much as any batting line up I have ever seen at test level.

Radical change is required and it needs to start at the very top. Pitches and the first class structure, especially A team cricket development, MUST be made paramount focus or this rot will continue for years.
