Football can be such a cruel sport sometimes. I think Ivory Coast has played the best of the African teams that I’ve watched.

Some of those chances should've been buried.

I recall coming here 3 to 4 World cups ago denouncing African play.

I was really frustrated by the lack of team play. The 'kick the ball down the pitch and hahe our fast pllayers run after it', attitude that was the only style of play.

This World Cup, am thrilled to see the level of skill and team play that has been on display.

Just wonderful to watch.

Just incredible to see how much the game has progressed. Right now, they play well together, but seem to be missing top finishers, and exceptional play makers.

But i think Germany was absolutely stunned how good Cote D'Ivoire played. They ran rings around them till late in the 2nd when they stopped attacking and got too cute.

Great to see where African football is at, just great....plus, that Canadian team?

I tell you what. Never expected to see that maany black players on Germany's team.

Lord, what a contrast to just a few years ago....and the blacks are making the plays, not just support players.
