@FanAttick

Yes.. A Room with a lot of locked doors...Love it.

CONCACAF is doing ok...

Keep hoping that an Africa team will reach the top but does not seem to be on the cards again.

Have not seen many games but Japan is my dark horse to go very far this World Cup.and probably break the Europe and South American dominance of the Event. France and Argentine better not take this one for granted.

Will be able to watch more now that I am home..

@hubert

Indeed..I was expecting more from Morocco…they are my dark horse and may yet go deep into the tournament…Japan can indeed create some problems for the more fancied teams….USA are currently riding the crest of a wave and could also go deep…

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the competitiveness of the majority of the matches so far…as well as by the overall quality of the tournament…I’ve been on the edge of my seat quite a bit..

Ivory Coast blew their opportunity to make an upset. They played well until the last few minutes of the match

@FanAttick

Could have won the game. Man got chopped down from behind in the goal area in added time and referee did'nt call it.

JAPAN, Cape Verde, Curaçao, Ivory Coast, Iran. These teams are standing up to be counted. Iran in particular playing against insurmountable odds… denied visas, have to travel back-and-forth between Mexico because they’re not allowed to stay in the US. It would be just fitting for them to make the playoffs.

If Japan is going to go far, they most likely will face Brazil in the knockouts. Brazil will fancy their chances against Japan. Brazil had them 2-0 at half time in their last encounter, then Ancelotti subbed all the defenders for some less experienced ones and conceded 3 goals all due to defensive blunders and Brazil lost 2-3

Howdy peeps! Some update from ringside. The Brazilian ref in the opening game that handed out three red cards. He and his team have not been given another game. Lots of questions were being asked, and they’re scheduled to ref today’s game with Senegal and Norway. Will they stick to the script or do their own thing again???

FIFA head of referees had instructed the referees before the start of the tournament that he did not want too many fouls or cautions. translated in English don’t punish the physical play. I have a feeling a lot of players are gonna be injured in this tournament

Messi is now the no 1 goalscorer of all time at the world cup.but might be short lived mbappe mbappe has this world cup and possible another one

I'm sure I have never seen so many uncalled fouls in any international tournament. It sometimes looks like some American football is being mixed in
