The fact that Josh who has captained regionally and internationally and was actually vice captain was not even named vice captain and Imlach who has 2 regional titles was also passed over in favour of 2 men, one of whom has at best been a stand in captain and the other nothing at all says is echoing around the Caribbean. Anyway, we rallying around Chase whom I rate as one of more talented players in the region and I really hope that Josh and Imlach's batting for the season is enough that they at least get a look in on the team.

Josh coming off a very successful regional season with the bat and will probably be relegated to the A- team if he lucky.
To accommodate Chase, someone more deserving will sit, Jangoo for eg played the single test and that maybe it for him for now.

West Indies cricket is not for the faint of heart, how could selectors continue to ignore a player with a 30.0 test average, yet appoint another with 26.7 for captain?? It doesn’t take much brain matter as to understand why we continue to struggle in ICC rankings.

Congrats Sammy, and CWI, for selecting Ruston Chase, as Test captain. Any 15 men squad, from today players, can fit in white ball cricket, which bodes well for future tours.
