And why not? They were quarterfinalists last WC. It wasn't far-fetched to think they could go one step further this time around. Being without their star striker today just made it a bit more difficult to get past France.

Too bad France didn't get a 3rd. That would be poetic justice after the AFCON was stolen from Senegal and Morocco awarded a 3-0 win after ACTUALLY losing 1-0.
