Jamaica continued its march to its fifth title on the backs of Captain Tamar Lambert and spinner Nikita Miller, as it defeated Barbados in three days, to post an unbeaten record in what has become the Regional 3 day tournament. The Windward Island/Guyana game goes into its fourth day today, but only because of a rain plagued opening day when only a few overs were bowled.

Pathetic batting performances reduced the four day regional tournament to a two day farce as the leeward Islands were trounced by CCC. Only Jamaica has so far managed to go over 200 runs in an innings, although the Windward Islands are at 186 with 2 wickets in hand when play resumes this morning.

West Indian batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan has agreed a deal to become Leicestershire's new overseas player.
Sarwan, who averages more than 40 in both Tests and one-day internationals for the West Indies, will join the county for the entire season, subject to clearance from his country's cricket board as well as gaining a work permit.

WEST INDIES Cricket Board (WICB) Director Dr Allen Sammy says off-spinner Sunil Narine and batsman Darren Bravo have big career decisions to make.
Both players were snapped up at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on Saturday with Kolkata Knight Riders buying Narine for a whopping US$700,000 while Bravo went to the Deccan Chargers for US$100,000. The dilemma, however, is that the IPL is scheduled for April 4-May 27 which falls right in the middle of two difficult series for the West Indies.
