The T&T team was poor. The defenders were passing the ball to the US midfielders and forwards - brain freeze for that 2nd goal where the #16 passed it to the US Attacker to run in on goal.

Then for the 4th and 5th: Batteau gave up and allowed them to cut in from the left to hit 2 right footed shots against a hapless Marvin Phillips (he made some blinders else it might have been 10 - 0). This is the worse I have seen a T&T team play - no cohesion and ability to string 1 pass together in the 1st half.

During the 1/2 time break the Fox commentators were skinning their teeth and making a mockery of T&T.

In the 2nd half they had a little bit more control in the 3pm Heat of the day (not sure why they play football in at that time & temperature). Also T&T players looked like they didn't realize this was a high-bryd grass on artificial grass surface as they were losing their footing and mis-judging the bounce all the time. I would say this surface was not suitable for slide tackling football as players weren't able to slide smoothly - they were "bubbling up" when they went in for a slide tackle.

A really substandard performance by Trinidad yesterday, however Suriname played well. much was not expected from them

Much was not expected from Suriname? We need to watch these teams more closely. The success of Morocco, Senegal and Ghana in the use of players from the diaspora has changed the game. Suriname and Curacao have followed and have significantly improved their player pool. Both countries looked good in World Cup Qualifiers.

we lost that game when jones passed to that usa winger. the team firstly is not fit enough. they can't play a high pressing game so they stick in their half hoping for the opposition to make an error. yesterday i noticed at some points, the americans had nine men in our half

Many of them come from Defense Force and Police - from your comment, no wonder why, they have trouble in managing crime

USA C team toyed with Yorke's boys.

Trinidad lifts its game when it plays old enemy Jamaica outside that it's a struggle.

When T&T play Saudis and Haiti performance may improve as a more physical team than their opponents.
