West Indies has rescheduled the dates of their forthcoming home series against Pakistan which is scheduled to be held in July, 2013. Pakistan were scheduled to tour West Indies for 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 2 T20Is in June and July.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul, son of dependable West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, is set to emulate his father by making his first-class debut as a teenager next month.
Tagenarine, 16, will open Guyana's batting when they take on the Leeward Islands in the regional four-day competition Feb 9-12 at the Antigua Recreation Ground.

In a bid to keep their best players available for the the Champions League, TTCB President Azim Bassarath is asking the Trinidad and Tobago government to reconsider scrapping the Elite Assistance Programme for cricketers.
"For the past two years that we went to the Champions League, T&T didn't have their best players available. This year 2013 I want to ask for the assistance of the Government that these representations have to be made to the IPL people in India. Then what I think we should do is that as early as possible put something in place where we can negotiate with the personnel of the Indian Premier League, asking and begging and requesting that we have available to us all our international stars"

Marlon Samuels has accused Shane Warne of "desperate" behaviour unbecoming for a legend of the game after escaping with a reprimand for his part in an ugly confrontation with Warne during the Big Bash League.
Samuels also called for BBL organisers to adopt a more disciplined attitude towards player behaviour to ensure the right example was set to the family audience that the tournament is so anxious to attract.
"It's not a war, it's a game," he said. "We're here to entertain people, but we're here to show love to one another as cricketers as well.''

Cameron White, the Melbourne Stars batsman, has labelled as "remarkable" the reprimand given to his Melbourne Renegades opponent Marlon Samuels over the altercation that earned Shane Warne a one-match BBL suspension. White has also refused to apologise for not going to the aid of Samuels when he suffered a severe facial injury from a Lasith Malinga bouncer later in the same match.
