He did break a boycott, but I don't believe that demonstrates his personality. Most of the players who went saw it either as their pension, or a way of getting back at the TCCB who had treated them like dirt.

I don't believe everybody here hates white people. That's far too simplistic. Some certainly do, and there's a significant level of casual (yet tolerable) racism here, but I can't think of anyone here who would be happy to see a man die simply because he's white.
