The many fans that voiced their disappointment on social media and elsewhere that the left-hander was bypassed for the award might even have been inclined, if it were possible, to remove Ross Taylor's name from the trophy and replace it with Bravo's, for he was the more deserving.
BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach is confident of making a successful return to the international stage after recently undergoing surgery for a right shoulder injury.
Roach has been sidelined since early November when he was forced to return from the tour of India.

St John’s, Antigua – Acting in the best interest of the safety and security of the West Indies Under 19 team, the West Indies Cricket Board has today, taken a decision to withdraw the team from its tour of Bangladesh.
The WICB’s decision was taken following consideration of a report on the situation in Bangladesh as prepared by WICB Security Manager Paul Slowe. The report emphasized that the current security environment in Bangladesh is not conducive to the playing of cricket in light of the 72 hours nationwide blockade and calls for countrywide dawn to dusk protest. The State Department of the United States of America has also issued a travel alert to its citizens living in and travelling to Bangladesh.
CHITTAGONG, Bangladesh – The second One-Day Match between Bangladesh Under-19 and West Indies Under-19 scheduled to be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong on Sunday has been shifted to Monday.
The venue and match timing will remain the same. The rest of the itinerary of the seven-game series will be unchanged. The decision to shift the second match was taken after discussions between officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and West Indies Under-19 Team management in regards to security arrangements following an incident on Saturday evening near the hotel where the teams are staying. BCB Director Akram Khan, who has spoken to officials of the West Indies and Bangladesh teams and local administration in Chittagong said: “The security agencies have assured the players and management that there was no risk to their safety. Nevertheless security measures will be reinforced further as we will not compromise with matters that concern the well-being of international teams. The West Indies Under 19 side have expressed their confidence in the arrangements and it has been decided that the second match will get underway tomorrow.” TOUR SCHEDULE – December 2013
