PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad – Defending champions Windward Islands will face Jamaica on the opening day of the NAGICO Super50 2014 Tournament on Thursday, January 30 at Queen’s Park Oval.
This will be the first match of what promises to be an action-packed tournament featuring 15 games in just over two weeks. The matches will be played at the historic Queen’s Park Oval in Port-of-Spain and the picturesque Shaw Park in Tobago.
The Final will also be played at the Oval on Saturday, February 15 with Sunday, February 16 as the reserve rain day.

Injured opener Chris Gayle is set to captain Jamaica at this month's West Indies NAGICO Super50 tournament to be staged in Trinidad and Tobago.
Information reaching The Gleaner is that Gayle was recommended for the post by the national selection panel, and this was ratified by the Jamaica Cricket Association during a board meeting yesterday.
The decision to appoint Gayle, according to the source, was ratified after the board was briefed by the panel as to the state of his hamstring injury, as well as his availability.
West Indies T20 all-rounder Christopher Barnwell has been appointed skipper of the Guyana team for the West Indies Cricket Board’s NAGICO Super50 competition, starting month-end. The 27-year-old Barnwell, who has appeared in 17 List A matches for Guyana, will lead the 14-man squad that includes West Indies batting trio Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who has been appointed vice-captain, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Narsingh Deonarine. Former national Under-19 opener Robin Bacchus is the lone newcomer in the team, with fellow left-hander Trevon Griffith being the other opener in the squad. read more at Guyana Times
