The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has dumped Andy Roberts, Courtney Walsh, Desmond Haynes and Ian Bishop from its cricket committee, citing a need to move "towards a committee-based governance structure".
According to a report by Tony Cozier, the four legends -- who all serve as directors of the Stanford 20/20 board -- were notified of their removal from the committee by an e-mailed letter from WICB president Julian Hunte last week.
According to published reports out of Guyana, West Indies middle order batsman has gone into hiding amid fears of escalating violence in the South American country.
Sarwan, who is currently training for the Stanford 20/20 tournament, abruptly left practice on Thursday after relatives called him and said that suspicious men were spotted in his neighborhood, said team manager Carl Moore and cricket board president Chetram Singh.
The Trinidad & Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) is still waiting for a financial report from the World Cup.
According to a report distributed by the Caribbean Media Corporation, Trinidad & Tobago is still not sure whether World Cup profits handed over to the local organisation committee will be shared with the cricket board.

The West Indies cricket team will return to the Caribbean in a few days having lost both the Test and One-Day International series in South Africa. They lost the Test battle 2-1 and are trailing an unassailable 3-0 in the One-Dayers with the final two games this weekend. Prior to all this, the Windies had beaten Zimbabwe 3-1 in a One-Day series, with the last match being rained out.
Fans will likely be disappointed with the outcome in South Africa, particularly as things started so well on this occasion for the team; prevailing in the first of two Twenty20 Internationals and triumphing in the first Test, both in Port Elizabeth.
