No love for Dominican Republic's Paulino?

She's from right up the road, so I think we should 'adopt' her.

Olympics-Athletics-Dominican Republic's Paulino surges to 400m gold

PARIS (Reuters) -Dominican Republic's Marileidy Paulino surged to victory in the 400 metres on Friday to add Olympic gold to her world title.

WANYONI is 20 and dipped better in thev800m than Kishane did in the 100.Anyway, it was the start that cost Kishane more; same thing cost Amusan a 100mh final spot

I am lost for words...no I have words but I will NOT use them.evil
This has been a disaster for the Track campaign ..there were a few lights and Thompson's
Silver in the 100M ,shoulda Gold...is one of two medals of 6 on the overall campaign..

A reset needs to be done starting with the 'eat a food' posse.
A lot will be heard in coming days...But 2028 Los Angeles is only
4 years away..so the Track and Field Fraternity better get moving
and redress matters.

I keep reading about the “eat a food posse”

Is this the same posse that was around when Bolt, SAFP, ET, Blake, Powell, Sherica etc were bringing untold glory to di yard?

Or a different setta peeps?

Yuh could guarantee JA going to do something about this campaign. Although I woulda take the gold plus six other medals for TTO, but I know their standards in track are much higher. I hope GORTT has a sit down with proper athletics people(not the NAAAs) even if they’re foreigners and see why our athletes can’t bridge the gap between CARIFTAS and senior competition

There's no revamping when the incumbents have the capacity to influence votes.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Yard will bounce back from what was FOR THEM, a disastrous Olympics.

I just felt it was more a combination of injuries and sheer bad luck, rather than poor administration, accounted for their showing in Paris 2024

USA lucky Curry fired at the right time. This is the second game they were roughed up. It won't be too long before one of the European teams win gold.
