From a nutritional standpoint the not enough protein for pro athletes in plant based diet is BS.
Tofu and other soy products can be cooked in a zillion ways. Soy is as complete a protein (all essential amino acids) as any meat
less animal fat/cartilage. Premier athletes (many) have had their personal chefs for decades now. Combining different plant based foods
(eg Beans/Rice) can provide enough protein for any human endeavor

The Canadian ladies avoided elimination with a 1-0 victory over Columbia after losing the 6 points earned in their first two matches via penalty from FIFA.

Their appeal to The Court of Arbitration for Sport was dismissed. They remain unbeaten but will finish second behind France in the group ....

it should be a indivisual choice between them and their coaching team about their nutritional needs and correct balance of carbs and protein and the quantity of these which may differ based on indivisual sports

Tofu and Soy have negative effects on hormones, especially men. Some supplement with vegan (soy free) protein supplements but nothing beats protein from whole foods sources.

There were a number of Caribbean swimmers in today's heats of the men's 50m freestyle, but the only one advancing to the semi-finals was Jordan Crooks (Cay), who clocked the second fastest time of 21.51.

Just read about Distin's failure in the high jump.
The circumstances and her reasons bring water to my eyes as
she blames the Jamaica Administrators...her coach was not there
to give aid for such a Technical event.
There should be hell to play after this Paris Jaunt as another athlete who
was qualified for her event was not on the team and had to got to
the Sports Courts ,which could not help.

After previous comments by Coach Mills, I have to wonder if some of the JAAA
JOA are not deserving of having bricks thrown at them.
I have revised by Medal haul of 6 down to 5 with this Distin affair.
