The ICC's Cricket Committee has expressed concern about "congestion" in the international calendar, warning that too much ODI cricket is having a negative impact on the game.
Following a two-day meeting in Dubai, the committee said the volume of ODI cricket may have "a severe impact on the quality, intensity and standard of international cricket and may result in injuries to players and a dearth of fast bowlers."

Jamaican middle order batsman Marlon Samuels has been picked to replace the injured Ramnaresh Sarwan in the West Indies squad currently on tour in England.
Samuels has been picked in the 15-member squad for the remaining two Test matches against England, the WICB said in a belated announcement issued today.
