Leicestershire coach Tim Boon says he would gladly sign Windies fast bowler Jerome Taylor again for three months and would recommend him to other county clubs following Taylor’s stint with the club during the England 2007 summer season as part of Digicel WICB Cricket Scholarship programme. Boon also strongly recommends more County club experience for Taylor at this stage of his career. Boon provided the WICB coaching staff a full report on tactical and technical recommendations to improve both Jerome Taylor’s batting and bowling.

I use the word powerfully to emphasise the strength that lay within their courtesy, respect, kindness and thoughtfulness because those traits are often misguidedly represented as symbols of weakness. Those men -- Rawle Brancker and Stephen Alleyne -- have always stood out as true models of the kind of human I idealise.

Jamaica, behind an important all-round performance from Jerome Taylor and superb fielding by Shawn Findlay, captured the 2007 KFC Cup with a hard-fought victory by 28 runs over Trinidad and Tobago in a competitive final at the 3Ws Oval Sunday.
After Brenton Parchment's half-century and crucial runs from the lower order rallied Jamaica to 230 in 50 overs, pacer Taylor grabbed three wickets and Findlay took two sensational catches and also effected a run out to help restrict Trinidad and Tobago to 202 in 49.3 overs.
