The International Cricket Council (ICC) has instructed the West Indies Cricket Board to launch an immediate investigation into the allegations of inappropriate activity by West Indies middle order batsman Marlon Samuels.
The ICC's anti-corruption unit found enough in the allegations that Samuels passed team information to a bookie while the West Indies were on tour in India earlier this year.

Both players suffered injuries to their knees while training in Antigua with the Pro Team and will most likely require surgery in order to return to full fitness and resume full preparation for regional cricket and the Stanford 20/20 Tournament in January and February next year.

Jamaica, behind an important all-round performance from Jerome Taylor and superb fielding by Shawn Findlay, captured the 2007 KFC Cup with a hard-fought victory by 28 runs over Trinidad and Tobago in a competitive final at the 3Ws Oval Sunday.
After Brenton Parchment's half-century and crucial runs from the lower order rallied Jamaica to 230 in 50 overs, pacer Taylor grabbed three wickets and Findlay took two sensational catches and also effected a run out to help restrict Trinidad and Tobago to 202 in 49.3 overs.
