Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is launching an online merchandise store that will make top-quality apparel and souvenirs available worldwide. The store has been designed by Cube Partnership, an expert sports retail, e-commerce, licensing and merchandise business, which works with international sports events and brands including The Rugby League World Cup 2021, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1 team and Solheim Cup 2023.
The range of merchandise will include items featuring the league and franchise branding and will be available for fans all over the world. In 2020 the Hero CPL had more than 500 million views with significant interest around the globe. Those Hero CPL fans in the Caribbean and around the rest of the world will have the chance to show their colours with this fantastic range of products.
With more ICC Test Championship points up for grabs, the second-placed West Indies will be seeking to claim a series sweep against Pakistan in their second and final Test match at Sabina Park today. This would see them jump to the top of the championship standings, however, history is not on the side of the hosts.
The last two times they played Pakistan in a two-match series, the West Indies, after winning the opening Tests, allowed the visitors to stage a comeback and win the last two matches in 2005 and 2011 to square the series.
Despite those statistics, captain Kraigg Brathwaite is confident that his troops can find the winning formula once again and claim a 2-0 series win.

Tickets for the 2021 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) go on sale on Friday 20 August at www.cplt20.comand at the box office at Warner Park, Basseterre. The tournament gets underway on August 26 with all matches taking place at Warner Park in St Kitts.
There will be 25 matches where the public are able to attend across 16 game days. All those who wish to attend matches will have to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and proof of vaccination status will be required to gain entry.
Hero CPL fans will have the chance to watch more than one match on seven-game days giving even more value for money. Tickets will start from just US$10 with all parts of the ground very competitively priced.
There will be strict COVID-19 protocols for all fans entering the stadium and details of what ticket holders can expect when they arrive at the stadium are available here.
St Kitts & Nevis is open to visitors and those wishing to travel to watch Hero CPL matches will be able to do so as long as they are fully vaccinated and follow the arrival protocols and procedures laid out by the local authorities. Defending champions, West Indies, will take on England in their first game of the International Cricket Council’s Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 at the Dubai International Stadium on Saturday, October 23, it was confirmed today as the ICC unveiled the complete schedule of the 16-team marquee event.
The two-time World Champions will look to get the defense of their title off to a winning start in what will be a re-match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2016 final at Eden Gardens, which saw them snatch the title from England thanks to a superb Man-of-the-Match display by Marlon Samuels and Carlos Brathwaite’s four consecutive sixes in the last over.

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Cricket West Indies (CWI) today announced the 26-member squad to continue preparations for the West Indies Rising Stars U19s tour of England next month. The squad was selected following targeted coaching sessions and an eight-match trial series in Antigua last week. The players will now continue training and planning sessions this week with a final 18-member squad for the tour to England to be named at a later date.
Head Coach, Floyd Reifer said: “The screening trials went very well. We saw some excellent performances and it was not easy to cut down a large number of such talented young players. You could see the enthusiasm was high in all the players, and the spirit was high in all the teams. We have to do everything we can to encourage all of the players who came, to continue working on their game. A more intensive camp has started where we will push forward to improve the skill set, the mindset, and the tactical awareness of the 26 players, before cutting the squad further. More will go into the tactical sessions as we work towards the Tour of England and onto the ICC U19 World Cup. We will also promote the West Indian brand of cricket that we want to play going into that World Cup, without neglecting the fundamentals.”
